We are currently recruiting for a small but long-established, successful supplier/importer business in Street Somerset. The hours are around 24 per week, and you can choose between working Monday-to Friday, or 3 days per week. You will report into the management team and be responsible for:-

Financial Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyse financial data, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and provide recommendations to senior management.

Budget Management: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning to support business goals, regularly reporting to management.

Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.

VAT & Transactions: Handle VAT submissions and manage company transactions with precision.

Payroll: Oversee monthly payroll processes.

Managing purchase & sales ledger

Cost control
What we’re looking for:

Qualifications: AAT, ACCA or CIMA.

Experience: Proven experience in financial services, accounting, cost control, and financial management.

Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial planning principles and practices.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial software, advanced MS Excel skills, SAGE experience.

Industry Experience: Experience in the import of goods, preferably fashion industry and a knowledge of the sector is beneficial, but not essential.
