Qualifications: Degree in social work approved by Social Work England. Registration with Social Work England.
Knowledge and Skills: Recognize risk indicators of different forms of abuse and neglect. Understand the impact of abuse and neglect on individuals, families, and support networks.
Prioritize the protection of vulnerable adults, including those who self-neglect.
Experience: Practical experience in adult social care through placements or related work.
Legislation and Policy: Familiarity with key legislation such as the Care Act 2014.
Skills: Effective communication. Critical thinking.Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies. Continuous Professional Development (CPD):
Ongoing training and development to stay updated with best practices and new safeguarding strategies.What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
Social Work England registration
Eligible to work in the UK
Hold a full UK licence
Post-qualified experience
