An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced individual to join Glen Hydro Consulting to support the ongoing growth of our service providing technical, operational and administrative support to hydro schemes across Scotland.
We are seeking applicants with experience in a technical and/or service management role. Ideally the candidate will possess the following attributes:

Relevant technical qualification (engineering, systems control, renewable energy) at certificate or degree level or significant experience in a technical field

Highly organized and systems focused

Skilled and experienced in system fault finding and resolution

Proven client facing and service management skills

Experienced in managing suppliers and sub-contractors

Highly proficient user of MS Excel

Excellent communication skills including report writing

Ability to consistently and reliably follow processes

Excellent record keeping

Experience of the hydro or wider renewables sector or familiarity with the use of industrial control systems would be beneficial
The role is full time and based at our offices in Blairgowrie with an element of hybrid home working possible. The role will require regular travel throughout Scotland, on average circa 4-6 days per month with occasional overnight stays. Whilst the role is primarily focussed on the delivery of operational support services for our clients, there will be the opportunity to be involved in the wider work of Glen Hydro for the right candidate.
Salary will be dependent on experience, expected range £50-60,000.
