As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead, direct, and coordinate the daily management of large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will provide strategic leadership to your project team and play a crucial role in developing future construction professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the construction phase, working closely with the Project Superintendent and project team to ensure objectives are met.
Provide safety leadership by implementing the company’s Safety Program and monitoring the safety performance of all team members and subcontractors.
Manage the project budget, control costs, and ensure timely payment of accounts receivable and payable.
Negotiate and administer prime contracts and subcontracts, including awarding and evaluating subcontractor performance.
Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
Provide regular reporting on financial performance and overall project progress to senior management. Requirements:
A strong background in institutional and commercial construction, with direct project management experience on projects exceeding $100 million.
Completed education in a construction-related discipline.
Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills with a focus on team development.
Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project; experience with Viewpoint Project Management system is an asset. Why Join Us?
