Office Administrator - Thame
We are supporting this global client to find a new Office Administrator to join one of their divisions located in Thame, Oxon.
The role holds a lot of variety and seeks an enthusiast individual who wants to be part of a team but enjoys taking responsibility for their own workload.
The salary is circa £24,000 per annum and on top of this you will earn 25 days’ holiday plus the Bank Holidays, Private Health Scheme, Excellent pension contribution, plus other benefits.
The successful candidate will be working a team of 3 people and will be involved with customer focussed administration and processing duties.
To carry out this role you will need:
Excellent communication skills for telephone work and responding to emails
Good MS Office skills
A good accurate copy typing or inputting speed
Self-motivated and takes pride in accuracy of work
The duties will include:
Answering the switchboard and taking messages for other members of the team
Meeting and greeting of visitors and ensuring they are booked in and checked out and any health & safety requirements are covered
Managing the shared email inbox and responding and allocating the emails.
Process customer orders onto the system
Carrying out credit control
Sending customers their statements
Processing invoice runs
Liaise with customers to resolve queries, referring more difficult issues to your Line Manager.
Undertake routine administrative support procedures such as filing, opening post etc.
Provide cover for team members as required
Work to specific deadlines throughout the month including the month end process
Maintenance of accurate records and other administrative duties.
