Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events Assistant to support the Senior Events Lead in delivering high-quality, engaging events. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive first impression at both on-campus and off-campus events, providing a superior customer experience. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, utilising strong communication, planning, and promotion skills. This role will be primarily based at Lancashire Adult Learning, with travel required across sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborating with the Senior Events Lead to ensure consistent branding and customer experience across all events.

Developing and executing operational plans for events, considering objectives, target audience, and outcomes.

Managing event planning and setup, including floor plans and cross-departmental coordination.

Assisting with pre-event planning, on-the-day management, and post-event evaluation.

Coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.

Supporting event promotion through marketing, logistics, and administration.

Assisting in managing event budgets to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery.

Upholding best practices, policies, and procedures in event management.

Ensuring a focus on exceptional customer experience throughout event planning and delivery.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of event processes.
