Parts Department Advisor
Location: Marlow, SL7 2NJ
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum
The Role
Our client is currently seeking to fill a vacancy in their Parts Department.
The applicant will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of their parts and accessory department. If you have excellent organisational skills, a minimum level 2 IMI qualification in mechanical engineering, strong phone etiquette, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, they would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist internal and external customers with enquiries related to parts and accessories
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient
Process orders
Provide product recommendations and assist with product selection
Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth department operations
Skills and Qualifications
Have knowledge of the workings of the Petrol and Diesel internal combustion engine to a minimum of IMI level 2
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good phone etiquette and communication skills
Proficient in using most Microsoft PC features and apps or similar software for data entry and inventory management
Ability to effectively communicate with customers, both in-person and over the phone
Driving Licence (preferred)
