Job Title: Head of Group Operations
Location Peterborough Head Office + Midlands Offices
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) + Annual Bonus
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the B2B telecoms and IT services sector, is seeking an experienced Head of Group Operations to join their senior leadership team. With significant growth over the past five years, the company has expanded into IT managed services and continues to enhance its footprint through strategic acquisitions and organic growth.
As Head of Group Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and aligning business processes with strategic objectives. You will be instrumental in supporting the company’s ambitious growth targets, scaling operational functions for a business on track to exceed £15 million in turnover. Your role will also involve integrating newly acquired businesses and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support growth objectives.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Set performance goals in collaboration with the leadership team and monitor progress.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee the integration of acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Operations Director or similar leadership role, ideally within the telecoms or IT managed services industry.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing significant growth and change.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong ability to execute plans.
- A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
