I am looking for a special person to manage a friendly 40 bedded care home situated in a pleasant residential area of Newtown conveniently close to a local bus route, with shops nearby.
The relaxed environment means residents feel right at home and the surrounding gardens are beautifully kept, with wheelchair access throughout as well as a pretty courtyard and patio.
This job will involve:

Using leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care

Managing the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy

Providing improvement, independence and choice for Service Users
-
Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
For this great post you must have:
-
NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) (or be working towards this)

Registration with CIW and be aware of Welsh legislation
-
Previous experience of managing or working as a deputy in a care home for older people
