Position Overview:
As the Site Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance across our manufacturing facility in South East England. You will lead a dedicated team of technical professionals, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of technical operations at the manufacturing site, including quality control, food safety, regulatory compliance, and hygiene standards.

Develop and implement robust quality management systems to meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and R&D, to drive innovation and product excellence.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.

Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, customers, and external auditors, maintaining strong relationships and representing the company’s interests.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analysis
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science.

Extensive experience in a technical or quality leadership role within the FMCG industry, preferably in food manufacturing.

Strong understanding of quality management systems, food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.), and regulatory requirements.

Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving performance improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
