About the Role
We're looking for a Head of Digital Investment to join Hearts & Science as the fastest growing media agency in the UK. In a newly created role for Hearts, you will report into our agency Head of Investment and work alongside all other activation leads such as Head of AV, Head of Programmatic, Head of Digital Operations and our Commercial Director.
As the Head of Digital Investment, you will be leading the investment approach of all digital team outputs, with focused attention on forecasting and delivering both client and agency targets. You will have significant experience within key digital channels (Display, Video, Programmatic & Paid Social); as well as fluency in all media channels to support the continued development of a growing media agency.
Communication and coordination skills are critical in this role, with the ability to work across departments coming from your naturally collaborative approach. Your leadership will be a key driving force for effective working process alongside creating impact for both Hearts & OMG commercial growth. Your expertise, collaboration and approach to innovation will ensure you create a strong profile with media partners and key senior clients.
Responsibilities
As the senior digital investment representative for Hearts across OMG, you will work closely with investment leads and digital integration directors to develop our activation approach whether it's tackling transparency, setting brand safety standards, or optimising media performance.
Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the below:
- Work with all activation teams (Social, Programmatic, other digital, plus AV, Publishing & OOH,) to deliver best-in-class campaigns that adhere to our best practice.
- Working closely with Connections Planning to ensure strategic approaches to digital are aligned with client and agency ambitions.
- Have a market leading knowledge of the entire media landscape - keeping abreast of changes in the marketplace & market shifts in consumption.
- Coordinate agency approach to emerging areas such as CTV, gaming and AI, working closely within OMG to develop and implement new innovative trading approaches.
- Work with senior agency partners to deliver bespoke, new to market opportunities deep rooted in business needs and build impactful joint business partnerships.
- Work with agency leadership to build market leading engagement, collaboration, and innovation workstreams with key media partners. Ensure positive values are reflected in the way we interact with wider industry whilst providing partners with key opportunities.
- Development and implementation of approved supplier process, ensuring that all digital staff - existing and new - are inducted and the process is adhered to.
- Presentation of OMG new supplier process within the business and externally as a future facing process, open to all and aimed at delivering pitch winning work, accountability, and pricing.
- Inspire specialists in their use of OMG owned & partner tools to drive greater insights, efficiencies, and outtakes for all media.
- Understand and develop trading deals across all digital, working with the investment & trading teams at Hearts and OMG to maximise their potential for our clients.
- Lead the digital teams to deliver all accountability and client requirements from a target, value, and commercial perspective.
- Responsible for all agency digital deal tracking & delivery for both agency and group priorities.
- Ensure best practice finance process is in place (timesheets, billing, invoice queries) to reduce aged debt, unbilled and late bookings. Support leadership team & finance on client forecasts, activity trackers and finance queries.
- Create and implement best practice, inductions, P&L targets across Omnet across all digital channels.
