Our client is a Sunderland based charity who are looking for a People Administrator to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Main purpose
The role is the ideal opportunity for an immediately available HR Administrator who is looking for a new challenge. The role is responsible for supporting the HR function to ensure administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
Handle and resolve queries received into the People and OD team inboxes.
Support the recruitment advisor with advertising new roles and support with aspects of candidate managements including gathering, checking and processing information related to screening checks.
Responsible for the end-to-end process of new starters, leavers and contractual changes
Ensure compliance with auditing and legislative requirements.
Assist the People Business partners with the administration of employee relations matters such as minute taking and drafting and issuing letters.
Support with absence management processes.
Person specification
Previous experience working at HR Administrator level.
CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
