Exciting opportunity in Maidstone as a Finance Support assistant. This is a temporary assignment until March 2025.
The role is supporting the finance team with various accounting and financial tasks, including budgeting, reconciling accounts, managing cash flow, processing invoices, handling tax and insurance matters and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Duties can include:
Development and preparations of budget and medium term financial plan
Support with monthly reconciling, pension and payroll information
Provide support with pension-related tasks.
Bank and account reconciling
Monthly VAT and CIS reporting
Assist in closing the accounts, preparing documents for audit, and handling year-end financial tasks.
Help prepare financial information for the company website and complete required returns and statistics.
Work towards agreed targets
Keep insurance details updated, manage claims, and offer advice on insurance matters.
Assist with returns, reporting and statistics
Provide support and advice on VAT, tax related issues
Inputting invoices and matching PO's
Use of accounting software
Other finance duties as requiredThis role is Monday to Friday and is fully office based and pays £13.71ph.
This role also requires a DBS check.
