Supply Desk are proud to be working in partnership with a variety of Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ secondary schools in Maidstone. These schools provide a supportive and dynamic environment, encouraging both staff and students to reach their full potential. We are now looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to join our schools teams for short and long-term positions starting immediately and continuing throughout the academic year.
Our Maidstone schools are particularly keen to welcome Cover Supervisors who are considering a career in teaching and want to gain valuable classroom experience across a range of subjects and key stages before pursuing teacher training. If you are enthusiastic, adaptable, and have strong classroom management skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your experience in education.
Key Responsibilities
Confidently cover lessons across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and productive
Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment
Safeguard the wellbeing of students both inside and outside of the classroom
Accurately record and report any incidents in accordance with school procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in an education role, ideally as a Cover Supervisor
Ability to manage classes across multiple secondary key stages
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to process one
Two recent references covering the last two years of employment
