Job Opportunity: Resident Services Officer (3-Month Placement)
Are you an experienced housing management professional with a strong background in social housing? Our agency is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Resident Services Officer role. This is a full-time, 3-month placement, offering the opportunity to work directly with residents to ensure high-quality housing management services.
Location: Southwark, London (initial placement at Southwark office, with work across various sites)
Hours: 35 hours per week (5 days in the office, no hybrid working available)
Rate: £22.66 per hour
Duration: 3-month placement
Purpose of the Role:
The Resident Services Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive housing management services to residents on assigned estates. This role requires managing tenancies and leases effectively, ensuring residents are fully informed of their rights and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a high-quality, resident-focused housing management service to tenants and homeowners, in line with the organisation’s service standards, policies, and procedures.

Handle a wide range of tenancy management activities, including sign-ups, introductory tenancy visits, tenancy audits, mutual exchanges, successions, assignments, and tenancy terminations.

Investigate and resolve breaches of tenancy or lease agreements, maintaining comprehensive records in line with internal policies and procedures.

Manage and resolve reports of anti-social behaviour, nuisance, and neighbour disputes, collaborating with relevant agencies and ensuring high standards of case management.
