A Sales Director, who can demonstrate experience of selling technical services into Tier 2 & Tier 3 Automotive companies, is urgently required.
The successful person would be working for a SME company based in Oxfordshire that process & apply performance enhancing ( Patented) coatings & heat shielding technology to a range of components.
Their clients include a range of vehicle component manufacturers; motorsport teams; aviation component manufacturers, engine & machinery manufacturers and aftermarket customers world-wide.
The organisations bespoke solutions are sold via R&D, Engineering and Design departments within their target clients, requiring their sales professionals to gain an understanding of the client’s needs before offering an appropriate technical solution.
Managing a team of 4 Internal Sales Engineers and 1 external account manager, you will be responsible for leading from the front & driving sales.
Reporting to the Managing Director as Sales Director your role would be 50% Account Development and 50% New business Development.
Working out of an office in Oxfordshire and in the field, you will be targeting both UK & European clients.
Provided with regular leads and incoming enquiries which are generated by an external Marketing Agency & Internal Sales Team, you would also be expected to generate your own sales opportunities and follow them through to their successful conclusion.
The successful candidate will have:

Track record of selling into Tier 2 and Tier 3 Automotive Companies

An Engineering qualification ( Not essential)
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary of between £75000-£90000
( Negotiable) plus car allowance, annual bonus + benefits combined with real long term career progression opportunities .
