Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the organisation’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the institution’s long-term goals and objectives.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements, including audits, tax filings, and other statutory obligations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align financial resources with organisational priorities.
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the financial health of the organisation.
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Act as the financial liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including board members, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Qualifications and Experience:
CPA/ACA or ACCA/CIMA qualification is required.
Experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the educational sector or a similar environment.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices in financial management.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
