We have a great opportunity for an experienced Buyer or Procurement/Purchasing specialist to join a manufacturing company in the Newhaven area in this Senior Buyer role.
As a Senior Buyer you’ll be planning and purchasing materials, working with other buyers and external suppliers.
Job duties for this Senior Buyer role include:

Purchasing – managing inventory levels and purchase orders

Vendor maintenance – building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, sourcing new vendors as required

Supporting the department, it’s initiatives and working on procurement related projects
Skills & experience required:
-
Previous experience as a Buyer or Procurement professional

Strong negotiation skills
-
Excellent computer literacy especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
-
CIPS or related qualification is beneficial but not essential
