Finance Assistant
Location: Blairgowrie
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (either 8am-4.30pm with half an hour lunch or 8am-5pm with an hour lunch - your choice)
Salary: Competitive starting salary of £25,000
Holidays: 32 days per year (including your birthday off if it falls on a weekday)

- Daily Banking & Bank Reconciliation
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Job Invoicing
- Monthly Contract Invoice Run
- Credit Control
- Handling Customer Account queries
- Preparing Statements
- Processing Card Payments and Direct Debits
- Month-End Financial Reporting
- VAT Returns
- Managing Price Increases
- Using Customer Portals
- Generating Purchase Orders
- Processing Staff Reimbursements
Skills & Qualities:
- Proficient in Accounting packages, preferably Sage
- Excellent numeracy & literacy skills
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Accurate keyboard skills with an eye for detail
- Previous experience in an Accounts role is an advantage
- Comfortable chasing customers for outstanding debt
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Helpful, professional, friendly, and polite
