Our client, a leading organisation in the Transportation sector, is currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team in London on an initial 6 month contract.
As Procurement Manager will be responsible and tasked with developing the procurement strategy to deal with maintenance and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing a procurement strategy for civils maintenance and built environment projects
Leading the procurement process from strategy to activity execution
Completing tender documentation and advancing the procurement process to its conclusion
Managing pre-contract procurement, including areas such as lifts, escalators, and built environment systems
Delivering procurement for civils frameworks and structures maintenance
Progressing tenders through stages, managing clarifications, and handling evaluation and award processes
Key Requirements:
Experience in procurement within the public sector and transportation sector
Knowledge of procurement strategies for construction and civil assets
Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
Strong understanding of civils maintenance and built environment requirements
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage complex tender processes and procurement documentation
