Admin Assistant
Location: Gosport
Pay: Starting off at £11.50 p/h
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 16:00pm
Job type: Temp - Perm
My client is currently seeking a reliable and proactive Administrator/Receptionist to work with a busy manufacturing company in the Gosport area. Training provided but have to be computer - literate.
Administration
· Check inbox daily
· Search and price sundry items from current and new suppliers, raising purchase orders once agreed with the Factory Manager.
· Support the Factory Manager with purchase orders, order receipts etc as required.
· Carry out Office filing in an accurate and timely manner - both paper and electronic systems
· Assist with clerical tasks for Technical / Production Management team as required.
· Carry out any purchases required for site visits - food / refreshments etc.
· Assist with administration requirements for Technical Dept. - printing, photocopying and filing as required.
· Any general administration tasks as required to meet the business needs.
Reception
· Greeting visitors, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed, ID verification ( Auditors / un announced visitors), providing refreshment as required, notifying the relevant person of visitor attendance. Hygiene and housekeeping of reception area (assisted by evening hygiene team)
· Receiving incoming calls, assisting with general enquires, re direction of call to relevant department, taking messages and follow up call as required.
· Prepare any postal requirements, receive daily postal delivery and third party courier deliveries. Inform relevant people of any deliveries.
