Our client is looking for an experienced purchasing / procurement professional to join their friendly office, providing support to suppliers and customers, handling enquires and much more!
The Role
-
Chase suppliers for quotations / issue purchase orders

Assist with procurement duties
-
Update and maintain database, ensuring it is accurate at all times
-
Providing general administrative assistance to the procurement department
-
Raising purchase orders
-
Obtaining quotations from suppliers
-
Setting up new supplier accounts, new product codes ect
-
Identify trends within inventory to promote cost savings and process improvement
Requirements
-
Previous purchasing / procurement experience is extremely advantageous

Excellent customer service is essential for this position

Strong attention to detail is essential

Excellent communication , both written and verbal

Smartly presented
-
Excellent IT skills including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
