A market leading and fast-growing distribution company is looking for a confident and technically-minded IT Support Engineer to join their successful team in Luton. You'll be working in a fast paced and collaborative environment, providing essential technical support to the company's systems and IT infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities
In this IT Support role, you will:
Assist with helpdesk requests and provide user support
Plan, manage, and support IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting KPIs
Set up and configure user devices such as PCs, laptops, mobile phones and printers
Implement, support, monitor, and maintain the company's network and hosted servers in collaboration with supplier partners
Maintain server rooms and handle the disposal of redundant equipment
Work closely with the group Head Office to implement security policies, manage the active directory, provide and manage access to company systems
Support the development of the Microsoft 365 suite to meet business needs
Monitor system backups and ensure proper documentation of systems, including network diagrams and user information
Generate routine and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders
Work with key IT suppliers to ensure systems and infrastructure meet business requirements
Create and maintain policies, user guides, project documentation, asset logs, and directoriesRewards
For this IT Support role, you will receive:
Starting salary of £29,000 - £32,000

To be successful in this IT Support role, you should have:
Experience in a customer or technical IT support role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
Good working knowledge of IT Infrastructures including Helpdesk, connectivity, networks and security
Good working knowledge in administration and support of Microsoft 365 Suite including Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience of device set up including PCs, laptops, mobile phones, peripheral devices, printers, photocopiers
