HR Officer
12 Month fixed term contract (Maternity cover)
£27,000 per annum
Based in Hull
8:30 - 17:00 Office based
A fantastic Opportunity for an existing HR officer looking to develop their skills, or for a HR Administrator looking to climb the ladder in their career.
My Client is looking for an ideal candidate who can cover Maternity leave for 12 months. You will be able to fit in with the existing, very friendly team. This is a fast paced working environment, so you must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Requirements, experience and person specification:
A background in a HR function is essential for this role.
CIPD level 3 would be advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Be able to deliver quality and accuracy with great attention to detail.
Be a pro-active, self-starter who needs minimal supervision.
Great communication skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly.Main duties to include:
To ensure all HR records are fully maintained and held in strict compliance with GDPR and Ethical Trading Requirements
Support the recruitment process from advert to appointment and on-boarding process - issuing offer letters and contracts and ensuring that personnel files contain the appropriate signed documentation.
Provide first line support and guidance on HR related questions and queries
Involvement in employee relations processes including attendance management, disciplinary and grievance
Collate weekly working hours, holiday and absence information and compile timesheet reports for Payroll to support the end to end payroll process.
Be involved with employee engagement activities, including mental health and wellbeing initiatives.Benefits:
