We are seeking a forward thinker, who can forge strong relationships with governors, Headteachers and other stakeholders to strategically lead the service to ensure that it meets the need of schools.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality guidance, support and challenge to Governing Bodies of LA Maintained Schools and Academies to help to ensure that they fulfil their statutory functions effectively. The Governance Lead will oversee the implementation of our training programme for governors and line manage a dedicated team of Clerks.

The role is advertised as a full-time role. However, should a suitable candidate prefer to work 0.8 on a pro-rata salary this could be considered.
