Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) departmental support to provide support to the Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator where required. To actively promote a culture of Health & Safety and to control and eliminate loss in the areas of injury, illness, material damage PPE control and data collection/recording. Whist promoting core values of openness, integrity, adaptability, customer focus and team approach.
Job Duties:

Provide support for the ongoing maintenance of the company’s H&S management system and of the company’s ISO certificate.

Support the clerical aspect of the health and safety policies & procedures.

Help maintain a comprehensive training record on each employee.

Help ensure H&S legislative compliance via documentation control.

In the event of any incident or accident help control all documentation resulting from an investigation.

Support the control of waste management permits and national regulations.

Liaise with the sites senior management team when required to ensure site compliance.

Control documentation from completed site assessments, risk assessments, internal auditing keeping daily/weekly records.

Support the organisation and control of the sites PPE stock.

Work within the ethos and standards of the company.

Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by the EHS Coordinator/Management.
Requirements:

No previous EHS experience is required but would be useful.

Have a working knowledge of Windows IT based applications.

Have good organisational and administrative skills.
-
Must have good communicational skills, be self motivated with an ability to multitask.

Concern for clarity and quality of work.
Salary: £12.00 per hour.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm.
This is a Full time, Contract position
