Job Title: Recruitment Consultant
MPI are looking for a recruitment consultant to join our growing engineering team based at our Hertford office.
Job Purpose
Contribute to the wider Engineering Team.
Ensure all clients’ requirements are fulfilled consistently and proactively.
Communicate closely with Contractors and Clients and identify any potential issues to the Senior Consultants
Key Duties
Liaise with senior consultants on all issues, ensure problems or potential problems are highlighted.
Plan and manage work to achieve resourcing of the labour requirements in a timely and efficient way according to the required processes and procedures and client requirements for designated accounts.
Prior to commencement of work, ensure all Operatives are in possession of all mandatory competencies, equipment and required publications.
Liaise and support clients as required, customer service calls, up sell and sales calls weekly.
Liaise with the Recruitment Director to ensure the team is resourced at all times as deemed necessary.
Ensure provisions are made for RDB Placements (contracts) and adjustments (memo’s) on a weekly basis.
Interface with the Recruitment Administrator for queries, new starters, PPE and paperwork.
Interface with Payroll and Credit Control departments for timesheet queries and new client checks.
Ensure all spreadsheets are maintained and available including KPI requirements
Keep pay and charge rates updated on RDB
Maintain the central database with up to date information and coding on candidates.
Advertising of new roles – Facebook, MPI Website, Reed, Twitter, (url removed) and Linked In.
Ensure filing is kept up to date.
Requirements
1-2 years experience in a recruitment environment
Experience in a customer service or sales environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
MS Excel skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, independently and within a team.
Superior communication skills
