Our client is one of Ireland’s leading specialist roofing and cladding contractors. They are looking for a construction schedule to join there team - UK or EU based.
Role Summary
To support the Pre-Construction and Procurement Department in ordering materials and plant equipment according to the company's business requirements, adhering to best practices and policies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Provide comprehensive support to ensure all processes are carried out to the highest standards and within set deadlines.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESULTS AREAS (KEY ACTIVITIES):

Material take-off from drawings
-
Compiling a Bill of Materials based on quantity take-off with the ability to communicate any differences back to Commercial Manager/Project QS to highlight any differences
-
Reconciliation with Tender quantities identifying any under or over estimations
-
Scheduling Material for Purchasing department and managing the order register, preparing order schedules which are project specific, liaising with Procurement and Operations team to ensure delivery on time to site.

Liaise with Technical & Purchasing and Project Teams
-
Detailed knowledge required of Roofing and Façade products necessary.

Work to programme targets.
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education: Applicants are required to have a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture, or in a related technical field
-
Distinct advantage with experience working with Roofing and Façade products.

Must have a high level of IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
