Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for a Document Controller for a contractor located in Borehamwood on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate must have construction experience, ideally with a main contractor.
Document Controller duties:
To maintain all documents for each project ensuring documents are in place for the Project to start.
To ensure that that all information is distributed to the correct individuals to facilitate timely project completion in addition to maintaining the companies document control database ensuring that all company documentation is renewed and completed before expiry.
Ensuring all Company documentation is valid and in date and doesn’t expiry unnecessarily.
Booking of Deliveries to site.
Ensuring all project files are in good order and consistent throughout.
Ordering Materials and liaising with suppliers.
Liaise with Site Manager to create Operation and Maintenance manuals for each project.
Keeping track of all plant on hire and issuing to site teams for confirmation to be done weekly.
Inputting of timesheets onto Project Costings for both Site and Factory labour to be completed weekly
Inputting of Plasma costs onto Project Costings to be done by the 10th of each month
Updating, maintaining and ownership of Training Matrix.
Ensure all staff are booked onto relevant courses and do not expire unnecessarily
Experience:
Document Controller: 3 years (required)
Main Contractor: 3 years (required)
4Projects: 3 years (required)
