Keltbray Infrastructure are seeking a Transport Administrator within our Rail Business unit based in at our Head Office in Crewe, Cheshire.
As a Transport Administrator, you will report directly to the Fleet Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of transportation activities. This position involves working closely with the fleet team to optimise routes, monitor vehicle movements, and enhance overall transport efficiency. this role will include:

Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to plan, coordinate, and optimise transportation schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Work closely with drivers, ensuring they are well-informed about routes, schedules, and safety protocols.

Monitor and track the movement of vehicles, providing real-time updates and addressing any deviations from planned routes.

Liaise with internal stakeholders, including procurement, operations, and maintenance teams, to ensure smooth coordination of transport activities.

Prepare and maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery schedules.

Communicate effectively with external partners, such as suppliers and subcontractors, to coordinate transportation requirements.

Assist in the development and enforcement of safety protocols and compliance measures for transportation activities.
Secondary tasks and duties:

Assist in the implementation of technology solutions for route optimisation, tracking, and reporting.

Provide regular reports to the Fleet Manager, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and proposed improvements.
