Role Responsibilities:
- Log and prioritise all incoming work on Jira, ensuring efficient workflow management.
- Monitor and maintain servers, virtual machines, and network equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
- Purchase and configure new hardware for users, liaising with suppliers and vendors to source the best options.
- Assist with IT projects, implementations, and upgrades, bringing your hands-on approach to technical support.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, resolving them promptly to minimise downtime.
- Create and update process documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Negotiate contracts for telecoms, mobiles, and maintenance, securing the best deals for the organisation.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a Microsoft Server or Desktop Certification, showcasing your technical proficiency.
- Demonstrate an analytical and logical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to seek out solutions independently.
- Established experience in an IT admin/support role, with a hands-on approach to technical support and project implementation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with high energy levels and self-motivation.
- Proven ability to manage a small team, with good influencing skills at all levels and a drive for executing goals.
