Madisons Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced Groundworks & Civils Site Manager to take control of the daily site activities based in Bootle, Liverpool. The ideal candidate will need to have a proven record of delivering projects to customer specifications, quality and exceed expectations.
Job Description:
Manage the safe delivery of Groundwork and Civils Projects
Manage all health and safety issues related to the project
Ensure that safe working practices and safety procedures are fully implemented across the site/project/contract
Monitor attendance & time keeping as well as keeping records such as diaries etc.
Manage material orders and/or call offs to ensure timely delivery of materials required to meet the programme requirements.
Ensure all relevant design & specification documentation is current and communicated to the onsite team
Ensure that all additional work is identified,
Appreciate and understand the commercial implications within the construction process and incorporate these with decision making
Any other duties required which will help the requirements of the Company to achieve the goals set out
Essential Criteria:
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Civil Engineering Sector.
Excellant Communications skills - Written and verbal
SMSTS Certificate
CSCS
First Aid (Essential)

Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
Excellent communication skills to be able to effectively deal with contractors, site staff, third party suppliers and client teams.
