Role: Head of Supply Chain
Reporting to: COO
Location: Remote / with access to London and Spain (with potential for flexible work schedule)

Joining us at an incredibly exciting time, you’ll be responsible for heading up our supply chain and leading the operations team to deliver our next phase of growth. This is the perfect role for a senior supply chain professional who knows their way around a factory, warehouse and a spreadsheet and has successfully led teams and built new processes before to take on serious responsibility and ownership in a fast growing, people focused business where they can have a monumental impact.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional and experienced operational leader who is ready to grow and future proof our business. The main purpose of this exciting new role is to make sure we have the right products at the right price at the right time for all of our customers. You will join our exceptional senior leadership team, working with co-manufacturers, producers and raw material suppliers to ensure we have the best commercial deals in our supply chain set up for years to come. You will shape the strategy of our operations, designing and implementing your vision with a great team around you that you will set the direction for and develop. You will be responsible for linking our demand with our supply to make sure we have the right amount of stock now and in the next five years, as an expert in demand planning and production planning. You will have experience making contingency plans for any operational risks, whilst having the ability to maximise any efficiencies and opportunities. You will be in charge of leading all negotiations, and your capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other operational partners will be crucial, as will your competency in managing multiple projects. You’ll have a proven track record in FMCG, having worked with UK and international retailers, and will have the opportunity to drive our supply chain to new heights.

- A experienced supply chain leader who is up for building and setting direction for the overall supply chain.

Responsibilities:
Overall
- Lead and manage the operations team to ensure they flourish.
- Implement contingency plans that cover Procurement, Fulfilment and Quality.
- Own commercial reviews and negotiations with external partners.
Procurement
- Develop a full understanding of all input costs and market trends which we use in Supplier JBP (Joint Business Plan) negotiations to reduce costs towards the budgeted target.
- Build great relationships with raw materials suppliers to secure raw material availability for next two years (with backup options).
- Develop and maintain a credible supply chain we are proud to shout about. Develop progressive sourcing principles which all our suppliers have signed up to.
- Coordinate and optimise supply with demand via S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes.
- Support the Product Team on day to day management of Suppliers.
- Support the Product Team on Production Planning which optimises for cost and availability.
- Support the product team on project managing NPD (New Product Development) to achieve 100% launch success rate.
- Maintain and enhance our B Corp score.
Fulfilment
- Retain 90% accuracy in the Demand Plan using input from Sales and Marketing.
- Support the Operations Team on 100% stock availability in all warehouses, and getting all products delivered 100% OTIF (on time and in full) to every customer through purchase order submission and logistics planning in our warehouses.
- Support the Operations Team on 100% availability in retailer partners and 90% promotional compliance through the development of relationships with Supply Chain contacts.
- Supporting the team on ensuring NPD and EPD (Existing Product Development) is seamlessly available to all customers in all relevant sales channels.
- Support the Operations team to audit and change our fulfilment options to ensure lowest LOGS.
- Support the Operations team on setting up European fulfilment options.
- Oversee the Order to Cash process.
- Oversee the Operational side of the customer service process.
Quality
- Oversee quality checks and processes to ensure we have the best tasting product on the market and minimal complaints.
- Join up the customer complaint and quality review process.
