WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
Client Engagement and Requirements Gathering:
- Understand Client Needs: You'll collaborate with clients to understand their needs, ensuring their requirements are clear and actionable.
- Evaluate Requests: Assess client requests to determine feasibility and relevance.
- Communicate Decisions: Explain our product decisions to clients clearly and effectively.
Product Development and Enhancement:
- Convey Requirements: Work closely with our product team to communicate client requirements and clinical needs.
- Prioritise Features: Help prioritise product features and enhancements based on client feedback and clinical necessity.
- Provide Insights: Offer clinical insights during product development to ensure accuracy and usability.
Clinical Oversight and Guidance:
- Advise on Best Practices: Guide the company on best practices for medication management in care services.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure all product features comply with clinical standards and regulations.
Data Safety and GDPR Compliance:
- Oversee Protocols: Oversee data safety protocols and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
- Handle Patient Information: Provide guidance on securely handling patient information and medication records.
- Conduct Audits: Perform regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance and address any data protection issues.
Procurement and Tender Support:
- Write Clinical Questions: Assist in writing clinical questions for procurement tenders.
- Support Sales and Marketing: Provide clinical expertise to the sales and marketing teams during the tender process.
Policy Development:
- Create Policies: Develop and refine policies and templates for medication management using eMAR.
- Support Implementation: Assist clients in effectively implementing these policies.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engaging with clients and gathering their requirements.
- Contributing to product development and enhancements.
- Providing clinical oversight and guidance.
- Ensuring data safety and GDPR compliance.
- Supporting procurement and tender processes.
- Developing and refining medication management policies.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Qualifications:
- A degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related clinical field.
- Additional qualifications in Healthcare Management or a similar discipline are a plus.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a care service setting, preferably in a senior or managerial role.
- Proven experience in medication management within care settings/social care.
- Experience with eMAR systems and transitioning from paper-based to electronic systems is a big plus.
- Experience in data protection and GDPR compliance.
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge, especially in medication administration and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to critically evaluate and articulate client requirements.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
Other Requirements:
- A passion for improving care home operations through technology.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and stakeholders.
