My client are an Essex based main contractor working on a mixture of new build & refurbishment projects valuing up to £10 million. They work within multiple sectors such as healthcare, education, residential & commercial.
Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates for construction projects

Manage budgets and track project expenses

Monitor the progress of construction projects
-
Liaise with contractors and suppliers
-
Prepare reports and presentations
-
Other duties as assigned
Ideal Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field
-
2-3 years of experience in the construction industry
-
Strong understanding of construction costs
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
