Due to their continued growth and success, Contract Scotland are working closely with a Glasgow based construction and fit-out company to introduce a new role into their team - Pre-Construction Manager. They have secured a busy pipeline of work across a range of sectors, including leisure, hospitality, retail, commercial and more.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with preconstruction experience within a main contracting environment to take the next step in their career. As Pre-Construction Manager, you will play a key role in the planning and development of projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to the construction phase.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project feasibility and efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and manage the tender process.
- Review and refine project schedules to align with client expectations and company capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the preconstruction phase.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in preconstruction with a background in estimating, design, contracts management, or another related role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.

Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
