Payroll Officer

Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our client's Payroll Team based in Doncaster.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Officer who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with the Payroll and HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage all aspects of the monthly payroll cycle in a timely and accurate manner, including calculating deductions, handling new hires and terminations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, company cars, and other benefits
Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports
Analyse and resolve payroll and benefit-related queries, effectively communicating with colleagues across the business to ensure a high standard of employee experience
The Ideal Candidate:
Comprehensive understanding and experience in payroll processing and legislation
Strong administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Previous experience with payroll software is desirable
