An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well established and growing business based near St Neots, Cambridgeshire on an initial 1 year fixed term contract.
Supporting the Financial Controller whilst they go through a new system integration, you will be assisting in the smooth running of the finance department in a varied role - there is potential for this role to become permanent at the end of the intial contract period.
Typical duties include:
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for 2 entities
Assist with management accounts preparation
VAT and CIS Reporting
Data analysis and review of meta data
Prepare and manage bank posting and reconciliation for 2 entities
Adhoc duties to support the team
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience
Part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or graduate with accounting degree
Technically proficient accountant with previous experience of a UK based accounting role
IT Literate - O365 (Microsoft Excel is essential)
Able to work on own initiative, with a high level of attention to detail
Team player with a flexible attitude
This role will initially be office based whilst you undergo training, but hybrid working will be possible after the initial training period. Own transport is essential due to location - public transport is not available.
