Technical Estimating Engineer
WB Power Services Ltd. is a leading provider of generator solutions, specializing in installations, maintenance, sales, and hire across the UK. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team. This role involves ensuring the efficient management of quotations, orders, and technical support while adhering to our ISO standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Compliance with Standards: Adhere to all WB Power Services Ltd ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 policies and procedures in daily operations.

CRM & ERP Management: Keep Salesforce and Protean systems updated at every stage of the quotation and order process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Engineering Coordination: Process further work orders from Engineers by 12 pm the following working day. Assign work to the remedial team for quotations or to coordinators for incomplete tasks.

Quotation Preparation: Prepare and submit quotations in line with WB procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with customer-set SLAs.

Client Communication: Liaise with clients to confirm their understanding of our offers, follow up on submitted quotations, and address day-to-day technical queries.

Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to colleagues preparing quotations, using a coaching approach to enhance team skills.

Order Processing: Manage incoming orders in accordance with WBPS procedures. Ensure bills of materials are passed to stores and order acknowledgments are sent to customers promptly.

Project Handover: Arrange and attend handover meetings for complex successful quotations. Create and deliver RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) for these projects.

Timeline Management: Ensure all timelines and criteria are met, addressing any anomalies according to procedures and reporting them to the Service Sales Director.

Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers as necessary to support project requirements.

Upsell & Cross-Sell Opportunities: Maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities during client site meetings.

Detailed Quotations: Produce detailed and accurate quotations, gathering all relevant information from site visits when needed.

Continuous Learning: Attend supplier and internal training sessions as requested to enhance your technical knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.

Technical knowledge in generator installations, maintenance, or related fields.

Proficiency in Salesforce, Protean, or similar CRM/ERP systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
