I am working with a local authority who is seeking a talented Team Coordinator to work in the Business Rates administration team. In this role, you will be responsible for motivating and guiding a team of revenue and visiting officers to achieve excellence in service delivery. You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, respect others, have empathy, be a good problem solver.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate and support a team of revenue and visiting officers to achieve exceptional performance.
Instil within the Team a culture of high performance, quality standards and a customer-first mindset.
Provide training, support, and supervision to staff, developing and nurturing their skills and maximizing their potential.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Business Rates administration, be proactive in learning of new legislation or guidance when required.
Effectively communicating with internal departments and external agencies to resolve issues.
Allocate work efficiently, providing guidance on the interpretation of regulations and legislation to meet ambitious collection targets.Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in leading and coordinating relevant services, with a track record of supervising, supporting, and monitoring staff effectively.
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with the ability to foster collaborative working relationships both internally and externally.
