COST CONSULTANT/ QUANTITY SURVEYOR
We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor Or Cost Consultant for a vacancy for our client in Plymouth Devon ( Home working available) This is a great vacancy with great flexibility for home and office working and is due to a huge project award. They are seeking Cost Consultancy professional with experience of Civils or Infrastructure projects .
Ideally they are seeking someone who is able to just get on with it, a "safe pair of hands" in terms of overseeing the contractor and reporting to the client. So there is huge flexibility on work from home on this position but you must be confident in your work and ability to plan and manage your own workload.

REQUIREMENTS

Professional Status-MRICS – Chartered Status is a preferred requirement for this senior level role. Our client will consider candidates who are currently working towards APC.

Qualifications -A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

Background – In addition, experience with a Cost Consultancy or Engineering Consultancy organisation in the UK.

Sector Experience -Our client is seeking a candidate who ideally has , Engineering, Civils Infrastructure or Telecoms experience. If you don’t have that experience, do not be put off. Our client is happy to talk to people who are confident overseeing the main contractor, someone who has the ability to manage their own workload and can potentially help develop their business in the area.

General Experience -The ability to manage your own projects and clients and work as part of a team. Some experience of mentoring less experienced members of the team

Reporting– The role will report to the Owner of the business.
SALARY & BENEFITS
This is a permanent full time position based in the Plymouth area with office and home working.
Our client is open to your location in the area as this position has the ability to work from home, but you must be able to be client facing when required
Salary Package – Negotiable for the right person, there is some flexibility around the banding provided by our client of £50,000- 60,000 p.a
