They are now recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the company

FINANCE ASSISTANT JOB PURPOSE
Working within a team of 4, you will be responsible for all related finance, accounts and credit control duties.
FINANCE ASSISTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Credit control as and when required
Deal with all customer accounts queries
Monitor and update all accounts
Issue customer statements on a monthly basis
Issue copy invoices when requested
Setting up new customer accounts
Pay cheques into bank
Post all customer receipts on a daily basis
Monthly recharge invoices
Prepare journals/self billing
Completion of recharge/rebates sheet monthly and relevant journals
Monitor credit control, admin and mail boxes
Check certificates of shipments for export
Provide debtor information
Intercompany reconciliation
Monthly checking of outstanding deliveries and work in progress
General financial duties
FINANCE ASSISTANT KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience within an accounts/financial environment
Ideally AAT qualified/part qualified
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
Basic accounting knowledge
Excellent telephone manner
Able to work well in a team
Knowledge of using relevant accounts related databases
Able to manage own time and prioritise
FINANCE ASSISTANT BENEFITS AND PACKAGE:
Salary £25000 - £26000 dependent on experience
Working 36.25 hours per Monday to Friday. Ideally 9am-5pm
Excellent training and development on an ongoing basis
45 minutes for lunch
