Corporate Receptionist / Switchboard - Temp - £15.00 per hour - City of London
Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to provide Front of House and Switchboard support at their City of London offices.
This is a temporary position to start ASAP and will pay £15.00 per hour PAYE.
Based front of house, the Corporate Receptionist will provide high quality reception, visitor management, switchboard and concierge services.
To provide a best-in-class service to all stakeholders, visitors, colleagues etc. to ensure a positive customer experience.
To respond quickly and efficiently to incoming telephone, email and Microsoft teams messages.
Visitor management (meet and greet, notifying host, escorting to meeting room)
Book meeting rooms and assisting in the co-ordination and preparation of rooms
Booking travel, accommodation, booking couriers, taxis.
Managing hospitality for events, large meetings
Arranging refreshments as required.
Ordering office supplies
Operating the switchboard for external calls
Ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy at all times
Manage and distribute any post as required.
The ideal Corporate Receptionist / Switchboard Operator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous Receptionist / Front of House experience in a busy corporate environment.
Previous experience of managing a switchboard
Ability to quickly build good relationships with managers, staff and external stakeholders
A confident communicator with good written and oral communication skills
Excellent internal and external customer service skills
Outstanding organisational and prioritisations skills with good attention to detail
Positive and energetic team player
Well presented, punctual and reliable
A can do attitude
