Training Manager £55k Central London
About the company: This company is a highly regarded and respected specialist civils contractor that cover Civil Engineering, Demolition, Groundworks and more recently Structures. They have a group turnover of £140m and work on schemes up to £35m
Responsibilities

Monitoring the company competency cloud system (assisted by training coordinators / h & S teams / project teams at sub company level) and actioning expired / expiring training requests.

Sending weekly training reports / matrix downloadable from the competency cloud system.

Notifying of expiring training (assisted by training coordinators / h & S teams / project teams at sub company level)

Adding new employees to training system.

Applying for CITB grants
-
Booking company training requests.

Maintaining relationships with training providers and seeking best possible training available.

Maintaining a list of approved training suppliers

Booking of occupational health medicals and maintaining matrix

Approving training invoices
-
Applying for training grants
-
Maintaining a record of financial training outgoings

Utilization of apprentice levy (assisted by training coordinators / h & S teams / project teams at sub company level)

Analysing training and upskilling needs
