Area Commercial Manager

An exciting opportunity awaits for an Area Commercial Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of telecom projects, including new builds, city enhancements, BDUK government contracts, and field service frameworks. This role ensures operations and service delivery adhere to contract terms and statutory requirements, such as the Construction Act.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing commercial resources from expenditure planning to contract control
Supporting the authorization and submission of project variations
Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
Providing expertise in contracts, including valuations, correspondence, claims, budget monitoring, and performance data
Delivering precise cost and value data at both project and regional levels
Coaching and mentoring junior team members
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior commercial management and contractor procurement, with familiarity in NEC3 ECC forms.
Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and partners, and innovative problem-solving within contractual terms
Experience managing large capital expenditure projects
Proficiency in data analysis for financial reporting, offering actionable insights and strategic focus
HNC/HND level education, or equivalent
