School Finance Administrator
£13.00-£16.00ph, Temporary position, 25 hours per week within school hours, flexible on working days, working 4-5 days per week,term time only.
We are currently recruiting a School Finance Administrator for this academy trust school based in the Harrogate area. This position may be suitable for someone looking for school hours who has experience in accounts and administration.
The main purpose of this School Finance Administrator role is to provide support to the school and trust office. You will process and upload invoices into Xero, complete reconciliations, prepare BACs runs, assist in monthly management accounts and financial year end procedures. Other duties may include filing, stationery ordering, general office admin duties and answer telephone calls from parents, carers and suppliers. You will work in a small friendly team providing accounts, administrative and general office support.
We are looking for someone who has the following:
·Previous finance/accounts experience
·Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience preferred
·Working knowledge of Xero accounting software
·A good telephone manner
·Excellent Customer service
·Great attention to detail

This is a temporary position to start 2nd September ideally. This role would suit someone who has worked as an office administrator, accounts administrator, finance assistant, finance administrator, accounts assistant or similar. If you have experience but are looking for a step back then this role could be for you. You will work alongside a friendly and professional team. The hours can be worked over 4 days and hours can be flexible between the hours of 8:30-3:00pm. This is a temporary role which would be for around 6 months.
