About the Role:
Our well established Bournemouth based client are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stores Person to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of inventory, ensuring that stores are well-organised, safe, and fully stocked. You will play a key role in the smooth running of operations by maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting the team with various logistical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain stock levels, including receiving, checking, and storing goods.

Prepare and distribute materials as required by various departments.

Maintain accurate records of stock movements using our inventory management system.

Conduct regular stock takes and audits to ensure accuracy.

Ensure that all storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety regulations.

Collaborate with the procurement team to place orders for replenishment.

Safely operate machinery and vehicles as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).

Support the implementation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency.

Deliver goods to other sites or customers as required.
