Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to oversee and manage the relationships with our national retail accounts, driving sales growth, and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:

Establish and maintain relationships with national accounts in the FMCG sector.

Serve as the main point of contact for key retail accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Conduct regular business reviews with key retail accounts to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive sales growth.
Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve growth targets and maximise sales opportunities.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
Collaboration and Coordination:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and supply chain, to ensure smooth execution of promotions, product launches, and customer needs.

Negotiate and finalise contracts, pricing, and terms with national accounts while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
Performance Management:

Manage sales forecast accuracy and inventory levels for national accounts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands.

Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in national account management in the FMCG industry.

Proven track record of developing and managing successful relationships with national retail accounts.

Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.

Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the FMCG industry.
