Job Summary
The Regional Service Manager is responsible for the overall management of the forklift service/repair and maintenance for a given geographical area, in this case the East Midlands. This includes overseeing the repair and maintenance of forklifts, as well as the training of Forklift Engineers. The Forklift Service Manager must have a strong understanding of forklifts. They must also be able to work effectively with customers to ensure that their needs are met.
Responsibilities:

Plan the movements and schedules of around 15 Engineers with the service team

Visiting customers to manage relationships with key customers

Oversee the repair and maintenance of forklifts

Work with customers to ensure their needs are met

Stay up-to-date on the latest forklift technology

Develop and implement safety procedures

Manage the forklift service budget
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in forklift service

Strong understanding of forklifts
-
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-
Excellent customer service skills
-
Ability to lead a busy team of Engineers

Strong organisational and time management skills
