Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team at a family-run Fire & Security company. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £28,000, along with a pension and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 25 after 1 year served. The Service Coordinator will be an integral part of our fast-paced environment, responsible for liaising with engineers, booking appointments, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule service appointments for engineers
Liaise with customers to book and confirm service appointments
Manage and update service schedules and databases
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth operations
Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service
Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to optimize service delivery
Qualifications
Previous experience in a coordination or administration role, preferably in a related industry
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Understanding of customer service principles and practices
